RFL Entertainment Company
Founded in 2013, RFL was originally launched as a part-time side venture - one musician with a long established resume of success in western Pennsylvania using his amassed connections to seek out performance avenues for a few select friends who had high quality music projects of their own, but were having trouble finding venues and performance opportunities both locally and regionally and needed assistance connecting with other agents, buyers and rooms to showcase their talents to appropriate audiences. The agency's owner and founder, Jason Miller has over 15 years experience in the Tri-state area music industry as a performer, band manager, de facto production coordinator and booking agent. Most notably, are a five year run from 2005-2010 as the drummer for Island Def-Jam recording artists, Rusted Root and his ten year tenure as drummer/manager for Pittsburgh based Radio Tokyo, one of the most successful and popular regional cover acts to emerge from the Pittsburgh music scene in the last decade.
While RFL effectively began as Miller doing favors for a few musician friends who he believed deserved more attention than they were receiving, he quickly began envisioning something much more -- a full service musical talent agency, focused on only the highest quality acts the region has to offer, a company founded by a musician for musicians but one that is acutely aware of the needs of the buyer as well and can act as a facilitator building strong, mutually beneficial relationships meeting the needs of both the talent and the purchaser.
